Flat battery...

So I had trouble starting the bike this morning and had to jump start it because the battery was completely dry of liquid. Count my stupidity at forgetting to check the fluid in it.

I paid for a replacement battery when I could have likely just filled it but that’s not what’s important. What’s important is that I found a motorcycle service shop that I like. The place is Arlington Motor Sports in Arlington Heights, IL (847)870-7993.

The guy I talked to was not only knowledgeable but more importantly he talked to me as a person and not just a customer. That’s pretty rare these days and should be rewarded. And those sort of things you notice after even only one visit.

So I’ve already decided that I’m going to take my bike back there to get the replacement tire I need. ^_^

In other news I found out yesterday that about 2 hours of stop and go is what I can take in one sitting on the bike. I had to go to a location considerably further than I normally go and when I got done there it was late enough that rush hour traffic was starting so it took me two hours to go straight home. I was pretty damn cramped and sore when I got home.

Need to mow when I get home today. I didn’t get to it last weekend and it’s starting to look a little shaggy.

Man I’m tired...
