Random Roombaing...

Managed to clean off my tech bench yesterday and do mosfet replacements on two of the 6 Roombas I have accumulated. The one seems to be charging okay but I have to check it over the next 72 hours. The other...well...Banpei might actually have to be retired. I replaced the entire system board in him and he is still giving the the red and not charging. I'm going to see if one of the other batteries does better with this new board once the other two are finished with their charge cycles.

Finished the PPP/Frame Relay/PVC section of the CCNA book yesterday and I did good on the practice questions. Today I'll tackle another section at random. I'll take another certification exam on Friday and see how I do.

MUST finish those edits for the Torn World story. I should have done them immediately when I got them but the plague still had me a bit as well as other things. I can finish them today as it's rainy and gloomy which is a damn good reason to stay indoors either in the house or the workshop.

The rain seems to be getting rid of any remaining snow and since it's March it's unlikely that we're going to get dumped on any more. That means I should probably take the plow off the lawn tactor and put the mowing deck back on her.

Yay. Mowing. Raking. Piling. Carrying.

And my wife wonders why I want to get rid of most of the lawn.

Got rid of the dead bean plant last night. Hopefully the gnats go with it. That'll teach me not to microwave my potting soil before using it in the house. The pot setup using drinking cups was a success I just need to grow smaller things in it or feed them more plant food.

The heirloom tomato plant is not doing so hot but the cherry tomato plant has another couple of tomatoes starting on it so that's a good thing. Both need plant food and since I don't have a composter set up yet I'll have to go out and get a bottle of the liquid stuff. Thankfully that's not too expensive.

My back was killing me after doing a bunch of stuff in the workshop yesterday. Had to take a pain reliever to get to sleep last night but it at least afforded me a complete sleep. My back feels okay this morning so it all worked out but I'm still a bit tired at the moment. Breakfast or something should cure that though.
