So I was perusing the side links off of Woot! and I found this little gem:

Priced at $130 the ball is out of my range but I can seriously see how making custom bowling balls like this could be more common. Especially if things start coming together on the 3D printing front. I can easily see a machine that prints a bowling ball according to the design you hand it.
