Turns out that the one auditor was confused and the Sarb-Ox guys coming today are for the business process side of things and not I/T. They’re going to schedule the I/T audit for after the busy season.
It’s raining here today. We actually need it but it’s annoying me because it’s keeping me from riding my bike. *sigh* Well like one of my co-workers said: “It’ll come.” I just have to be patient.
Haven’t gotten down to my sister’s house to dig up my grandmother’s raspberry bush that’s planted there. Maybe I’ll do that tomorrow when I’m home with my daughter. I think my sister is still in Florida so I shouldn’t be bothering anybody. Now I just need to figure out if that bush will grow in a Southern exposure or not. Likely not as that strain of bush used to be in full sunlight when it was at my grandmother’s house. More research is needed.
Hopefully it clears up a little tomorrow - at least enough for me to do some cleaning in the garage. I need to get the tiller out of the corner so our housemate can change the oil in it and use it on the flower beds if necessary. Lots of yard work to be done...
I hate bland and grey days. It’s cold and rainy and all I want to do is get back under the covers. I could sleep in tomorrow but I’m going to try not to. There’s so much stuff to be done at the house that I can get done if I start early. Unfortunately the last few times I’ve stayed home I’ve slept late just to catch up on the needed rest. Both a good and a bad thing it seems.
For one I need to finish organizing the systems in my office so that they run through the KVM and work properly with one keyboard and mouse. I have yet to figure out how to get the one Sun system connected without spending the $89 for the Belkin adapter. I might be able to find it cheaper on E-Bay.
Once the systems are safely out of the way I’ll adjust the location of the boom mic and stand so that I can record without getting a lot of background noise from the systems. Getting some of the stuff I’ve written recorded will make me a very happy person on some levels. :-)
